Camping Update:

Here is a camping guide / packing list for campers.  Please read!

 

We would love for you to camp at ThistleDew!  Since it is the Roth family cabin, camping will be free.  We will provide portable toilets, short camping showers (hot water not gauranteed), and a mini outdoor kitchen set-up (coolers to be maintained by the campers, camping stoves, etc), and drinking water.  Hot showers are available 3 miles down the road at Teton Peaks Lodge for a small fee.

 

You provide your camping gear (tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, extra blankets, whatever makes you feel cozy), towels for showering, food, ice, and cleanup (don't let the racoon scavengers get their hands on your food or trash).  During the day the weather will be in the high 70 - 80 degrees F.  It gets cold at night, 40-50 degrees F, so be prepared with layers (fleece jacket, hat, scarf, warm socks, warm shoes).  Bring your dogs, but we ask that you keep them in control and away from the wedding ceremony and reception.  Please bring leashes and a crate; of course they will have the opportunity to run free- weeeee, but their will be times when we want you to keep them in control. 

 

Like all camping, we ask that you leave no trace.  Be considerate of the environment and bring biodegradable soap, shampoo, and conditioner (have questions on this?  Ask Kate).  Pick up after your dog and friends that act like dogs.
